We would like to give a special shout out and thanks to Unni Gran from Skadesminke U.G. for coming down to ACN and helping create some pretty terrifying wound makeup for our haunted house this year. Your great work was definitely a factor to this year’s well-received haunted house. Thanks for sharing your talent and craft with our staff, faculty and students, we’re all beyond appreciative.
During this year’s fall break, ACN students, faculty and staff went on a once in a lifetime Arctic expedition to Svalbard – Norway’s farthest northern territory! This exciting travel course was led by Dr. John Ross and this year’s ACN students got to explore Pyramiden, hike thousand-year-old glaciers and listen to educational lectures at the University Centre in Svalbard (UNIS)!
October is a busy and eventful month for ACN! With our “POLS 491: The Arctic” students embarking on an Arctic expedition to Norway’s northermost territory – Svalbard, to celebrating 25 years of ACN (yes, 25 years of ACN!) at UND, plus holding our annual Haunted House, we sure have a lot going on this month and we look forward to creating more memories this month!
