Homecoming Spirit Week is an important event at the beginning of each school year at American universities. It is a week filled with events and fun, where students get into the college spirit by enjoying different activities. This year’s Homecoming Spirit Week at ACN consisted of theme days, a tennis table tournament, an American football game, and the annual Homecoming Dance.
Exploring the Connections Between Norway and Ireland on American College of Norway’s Viking Themed Travel Course to Dublin!
This past Easter break, American College of Norway students, faculty and staff traveled to Dublin, Ireland to explore the connections between Norway and Ireland on ACN’s Game of Thrones: Vikings, High Kings, and the Irish Church, faculty-led travel course.
Every October, we transform our hallowed halls into a horrifying haunted house, and this year was no exception! This year, nearly 300 people came through our doors… some had to even leave early! We definitely put on an authentic American haunted house, that’s for sure. Read more about this year’s urban legends themed haunted house. The American College of Norway has organized a travel course to Svalbard the past two years and this year was no exception. With great interest and tremendous success the past two trips, another Arctic expedition was planned! This year, 16 students spent an unforgettable week exploring Norway’s northernmost territory with Dr. John Ross. This past summer, the American College of Norway celebrated its 25th anniversary right where it all started, in Moss, Norway! ACN alumni, faculty, staff and supporters came from near and far to celebrate our 25th anniversary with fun-filled reunion events the last weekend of June. With over 100 attendees in total, there were countless reunions and walks down memory lane.
