After ACN

Begin at ACN, continue in the U.S.

-

After ACN, students can apply to any Lånekassen-approved university in the United States to complete the final two or three years of their bachelor’s degree. A large number of ACN students choose to attend one of our American partner universities,

University of North Dakota, West Chester University or Adelphi University.

All three are highly ranked by The Princeton Review, U.S. News & World Report and other college ranking organizations. Admission at U.S. universities is selective, meaning students must compete with other people for a limited number of spots. The selectivity varies greatly between schools, as does the requirements for admission. Universities may base their admission decisions on grades, test scores, extracurricular activities, recommendations, athletic ability or any other criteria they set.

Throughout the year at ACN, students receive lots of help finding and applying to the school of their ‘dreams’! Already during the first weeks of school each student will meet with the International Student Advisor. This meeting is focused on creating a “plan of action”.

Personal meetings can be arranged by students at any time throughout the year for continued personal advising. ACN students will also have the opportunity to participate in seminars where they learn more about writing a college essay, university application requirements and details, TOEFL information, applying for a student visa, etc.

The ACN goal is to assist our students in the transition from Norway to America as best we can. We hope to make the application and transfer process as smooth as possible!
